Mend-It Cafe at SFCC

Join us for this special Mend-It Cafe, Clothing Swap and veggie starts Plant Sale brought to you by the SFCC Environmental Club.  Repairing and sharing our clothes keeps them out of the waste stream, saves you money and the planet's resources.

For the swap: Only bring items in good condition, no tears or stains. If a hem has fallen or a seam has split we can fix that. We'll be happy to make small alterations on items you acquire at the swap. 

What we'll mend: Fallen hems, torn jeans, we'll put patches on, replace zippers (please bring a replacement zipper and if you can remove the broken one) we'll sew on buttons and even fix tears in puffer jackets. We'll mend sweaters and darn socks, sew up a bag, fix a strap and more. We'll do our best to fix everything you bring and we'll be honest about what we can't.
