Bring the family to Central Library for an afternoon of sustainable, green fun!
Families with children 18 and younger are invited to participate in a variety of green, family-friendly activities.
SZW will be teaching you how to transform a T-shirt into a bag designed to replace plastic produce bags.
We'll also have "We Are Nature" a fun, creative activity for kids of all ages making portraits and mask from natural materials.
There will be 300 FREE trees available to those who visit all partner booths and learn something new!
So mark your calendar and visit us and our friends.
Participants Include:
Spokane City of Spokane Spokane Storm and Wastewater, City of Spokane Solid Waste, Water Wise Spokane, Master Gardeners of Spokane County, Spokane Zero Waste, Spokane Ponderosa, Spokane Aquifer Joint Board, Global Neighborhood Thrift, and many others.
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
