The Mend-It Cafe will be back in action at the Garland Summer Market. We've got 5 talented menders ready to tackle items in your fix it pile.

It's not too soon to think "back to school" or Fall wear and gear. So grab a few items and a friend and come see us. We'll be indoors at the Gathering Place, look for our sign at the doors near the Market's information booth.

It's first come, first served - no pre-registration necessary. We'll check you in and get you paired with a mender asap, or take your number and text you when the next one is available.

The Mend-It Cafe exists to extend the life of your textiles, keep them from landfill and incineration and reduce microplastics from entering the air, water and soil, while helping build a repair economy and community. Not to mention it's super fun!
